Just one day after Michael Jackson’s death, I can’t stop thinking about how much he has influenced me and the people I grew up with. I remember being a little kid and going to the store and buying his album Thriller. It was my very first cassette tape I ever bought with my own money. I used to play the tape with my cousins and try to do the moon walk. Ha. I remember seeing him on T.V. and thinking how awesome he could move and sing. I wanted to be him. He fascinated me.

Even with all the rumors and trouble that he was in and out of, I still thought he was a super talented artist. He will be missed. Michael Jackson blazed a trail for millions of artists. I’m thankful that I got to experience his music and talents the way I did.
