The Nashville Flood. May 2, 2010.

On the weekend of May 1st, 2010, Middle Tennessee and parts of Kentucky sustained massive thunder storms and flash flooding. Within hours, the city I live in, the city of Nasvhille was sitting under several feet of water. Thousands of people were left without food, water, and shelter. Since then, Nashville has been declared a natural disaster area and is being assisted by FEMA.

The following video is only a glimpse into the wide destruction that Nashville has encountered.

One response so far, want to say something?

I definitely pray that the us government handles this catastrophe better than they did with hurricane Katrina. Having lived through a flood personally, Let me tell you that it can be really devestating. Even if you are privileged enough to have the means to be able to replace your own material posessions, there are just many things which finances will not restore. My heart genuinely goes out to those individuals and they’ve been in my thoughts and prayers.
